I grew up in Mr. Roger’s neighborhood, known as Squirrel Hill, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Other than Pittsburgh and Colorado, I lived in Germany, (former) Yugoslavia, the Republic of Korea, and Chicago. My photography training comes from my father, Ray, and my uncle Robbie (Iron Horse Magazine).
My other artistic hobbies include hosting trivia and writing. My education includes a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois and a B.A. in English from the University of Colorado. I served in the Army Reserves, Post 1187 Historian for the American Legion, Board Member of the University of Colorado Army ROTC Alumni Association and I work in public finance.
A common question I get is, “what does DoNoraA stand for?” DoNoraA, pronounced “do-nora”, is a combination of my name (Aaron) and my kid’s names (Nora and Donovan).
I enjoy capturing you at your best, whether that be candidly, dressed up or down, celebrating, breaking tackles, serving, speaking or spiking.
