Hi, I’m Aaron Sager
The Photographer Behind DoNoraA
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I learned from my father, Ray, and my uncle Robbie, a photographer for Iron Horse Magazine. What started as a family influence developed into a passion for capturing people, events, sports, and the moments that happen naturally along the way.
Today, through DoNoraA Photography, I bring that experience to every assignment with a relaxed approach and an eye for the moments that tell the real story.
Whether I’m photographing a corporate event, a community celebration, athletes in action, or a family gathering, my goal is simple: create photographs that feel authentic to the people and experience in front of my camera.
A Little More About Me
I grew up in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood—Mr. Rogers’ neighborhood—and my life has taken me well beyond Pennsylvania. Over the years, I’ve also lived in Germany, the former Yugoslavia, the Republic of Korea, Chicago, and now Colorado.
Outside of photography, I enjoy writing and hosting trivia. I earned a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois and a B.A. in English from the University of Colorado, and I work professionally in public finance.
Service and community have also been important parts of my life. I served in the Army Reserve and have been involved with the American Legion and the University of Colorado Army ROTC Alumni Association.
That background has given me the opportunity to meet people from many different places and walks of life—something I believe influences the way I approach photography and the people I photograph.
